Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 19+ years experience in public accounting for the Federal Government. Dedicated my professional career to providing audit and advisory services to federal agencies while working for Cotton & Company, LLP. Managed Human Resources Department for the 150-person firm and have been involved in several professional associations over the years. Actively involved with the VSCPA; I am a past Board Member and Chair, and I also served on a conference committee and was Audit Committee Chair. I am also a member of the AICPA and currently serve on the AICPA Council. In past years, I was a member the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) DC Chapter, having serving as Secretary of the IIA. I am not currently practicing but remain an active member of the VSCPA and retain an active CPA license.
