I am passionate about the CPA profession with over fifteen years of experience providing assurance services and being active in my profession with my involvement in the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. I enjoy working with my clients and my peers. My areas of specialty include accounting and attestation in dealerships, employee benefit plans, manufacturing and distribution, and nonprofit organizations. I also provide consultation on controller duties and I train new controllers. My passion is financial reporting and I enjoy research with respect to accounting topics. I've been with Dixon Hughes Goodman (formally Goodman & Company) since 2001 with a few years in between in nonprofit accounting.
