In Search For: Board Treasurer
Position Description: Board Treasurer (1 Year Term Renewable)
The Treasurer supports oversight of the Lady Justice Initiative, Inc.’s finances. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing strategic guidance, reviewing the annual budget and periodic expense and revenue statements and presenting them to the board, reviewing and issuing the annual treasurer’s report, advising on and reviewing fiscal and compliance policies and procedures, reviewing audit and tax forms prepared by outside providers.
Qualifications. Required: Finance or accounting background. Prior Board and/or nonprofit experience is a plus.
Meetings The Board will meet virtually 2 X per year. Periodic executive meetings will be convened on an as needed basis
