The FDR Memorial Legacy Committee, the friends group for the FDR Memorial in Washington, DC has the mission to protect, preserve and promote the FDR Memorial. We are looking for someone to join our Board of Directors and serve as Treasurer who can help guide and enforce strong internal controls and financial management policies, ensure accurate and complete financial reporting and proper maintenance of financial records and information/tax returns, and ensure the organization’s financials are audited and/or reviewed whenever required or advisable. The Treasurer will chair the ongoing finance committee meetings. We have a CPA on staff who does the reporting, but the Treasurer is needed to provide oversight. In addition, as a member of the Board, the individual will participate in all other Board activities including meetings and fundraising. Our budget ranges from $250,000-$500,000.
