Description:

The Innovation Advisory Council supports the VSCPA’s Center for Innovation by providing insight and ideas on how we can best drive member value and advance innovation. 

The VSCPA Center for Innovation is the go-to resource that empowers you, our members, to drive CPA relevance through innovative and visionary leadership. The Center offers future-forward resources, learning and engagement to help members embrace innovation to create the workplace of the future. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Provide strategic direction for the Center for Innovation to provide learning, resources and experiences to empower members to grow their innovative and visionary leadership   

  • Provide insight into hot topics and important professional trends 

  • Assists in developing programs, resources and partnerships that will further the goals and objectives of the Center for Innovation and VSCPA  

  • Helps promote VSCPA and Center for Innovation activities and resources, as needed 

Commitment:  

  • Attends all meetings (in person, conference call and virtual) 

  • 2-4 video conference calls (1 hour) – dates TBD 

  • 1 in person meeting 

  • Active participation/discussion in the Council’s Connect online community, as needed  

  • Reviews all relevant material prior to the meetings. Prepares to make contributions and voice opinions concerning issues and activities  

  • Accepts and completes special assignments as requested  

  • Attend Leaders’ Summit in May 2024 

  • Innovation, Technology, Leadership Development, Talent, Workplace of the future, Culture, Future Forward, Strategy 

Qualifications: large project; leadership development; no limits, on a committee, small project, technology
