The 2022 Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Consolidated Tax Center (JBM-HH CTC) is looking for volunteers willing to support this engagement for the upcoming tax season - providing free tax preparation assistance of simple federal and state tax returns for active duty military personnel, retirees, and their dependents in the DC, MD, and VA area.  

This is all done in coordination with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) training and program. All services will be provided virtually to our customers. The CTC will provide these services from mid-to-late February through April 15. Part-time or full-time hours will be available. Those interested should have both a working computer and phone. Those interested will need to attend training, which is set to begin in December 2021 and become a certified VITA volunteer.
