The Board of Directors is the VSCPA's governing body and guides the strategic direction of the organization. Members also serve as the VSCPA Educational Foundation Board. Ideal candidates have a passion for the profession and are strategic thinkers. The VSCPA Nominations Committee submits a slate of officers and directors to the VSCPA membership for election at its annual business meeting. The Committee considers prior volunteer service to the VSCPA as it develops its slate of nominees.
Appointees are required to attend the VSCPA Leaders' Summit in May as well as five Board meetings.
