The VSCPA is committed to driving innovation and vision as part of our VSCPA2025 strategic framework, and will provide information and resources to empower members to lead and drive CPA relevancy through innovation. The focus of this initiative includes:
- Technology: Help members adapt to, embrace and leverage rapidly changing technologies
- Talent: Help members develop leadership skills and grow knowledge of global trends to build a thriving workplace of the future
To accomplish this goal, the VSCPA is creating an Innovation Advisory Council to help guide our innovation and vision strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction for the development of the Center of Innovation, a new initiative to provide learning, resources and experiences to empower members to grow their innovative and visionary leadership.
- Identify key partnerships, resources and innovative business leaders in and outside the CPA profession to highlight.
- Assess current offerings and future program development needs; identifying gaps in member needs related to innovation, technology and talent and help guide potential solutions.
- Champion and help build awareness of VSCPA innovation and vision strategy, including promoting the Center of Innovation as the go-to resource for Virginia CPAs.

- Attendance at Leaders’ Summit May 10 – 11, 2018 in Richmond
