The VSCPA has a recurring opportunity to submit member columns to Virginia Business magazine for publication on their website. We select the topic. During the month of August, the VSCPA is focusing its communications on the student to CPA pipeline. We would like to submit a 750 word maximum column on high school as an opportunity for career exposure. We want to promote accounting and the CPA as career paths for sure, but would need to also be more general. This is a business audience, so some focus would need to be on high school outreach as a general recruitment best practice.
