This Committee reviews and responds to exposure drafts and alerts the VSCPA staff to important changes in accounting and auditing regulations or interpretations, including governmental. The Committee seeks feedback from VSCPA members on issues facing accounting and auditing professionals and may seek to form ad hoc groups to respond to specific exposure drafts and alerts requiring expertise in specialized areas. The number of meetings and time commitment depend upon the level of activity in the accounting and auditing environment. Expect monthly conference calls and attendance at Leaders' Summit on May 16-17, 2019. This is a highly selective committee. Only fellow members with expertise in COSO, FASAB, FASB, GAGAS, GAO, GASB, IASB, IFACAC, OAB, or PCAOB will be accepted.
