We have opened up the nominations for the 2017 awards program (I encourage you to submit a nomination or two) and we are now selecting members for the 2017 Awards Program Task Force. As past VSCPA award winners and task force members, I would like to extend the opportunity to you to serve and help select the next group of winners.
Please respond by applying to this opportunity if you are interested in serving. Requirements and time commitments will be very similar to past years and are detailed below. We will use the Connect community to communicate and share resources:
- Friday, December 2: Deadline to submit a nomination
- Friday, January 20: I will send Task Force members the link with all of the nominations for Outstanding Member of the Year (OMOTY) and Top 5 Under 35 (T5U35) for you to review via SmarterSelect
- Friday, February 24: Task Force selections due for both awards
- Date and time TBD: 1 – 1.5 hour conference call with TF to select award winners. I will follow up with the task force members on the best date for everyone to participate via a Doodle poll.
